Warrant Issued for Fourth Suspect in Shooting on Lancer Ln.

At approximately 5:00 pm on January 27, 2018, deputies responded to a 911 report of shots fired in the area of Saracen Rd. and San Juan Dr. The caller also reported seeing a bloody man and “lots of kids” running down the street. Upon arrival, deputies found a 21 year old male with multiple gunshot wounds to the face, neck, shoulder and back. It was later determined that the victim had been shot on Lancer Ln.

Several teens were seen fleeing on foot and deputies were able to detain the suspects. Detectives arrested JESUS CORRALES, 17 and charged him with Aggravated Assault/Deadly Weapon. A warrant was issued for DAVID ORION DEWEY-HAAGENSEN, 17 for Aggravated Assault/Deadly Weapon. A juvenile was also arrested.

In the last 48 hours, detectives have conducted interviews with witnesses and suspects, and based on the additional information collected, they have changed the charges against Corrales, Dewey-Haagensen and the minor to Aggravated Robbery, a first degree felony.
Detectives have also issued a warrant for a fourth suspect. SAMUEL STEINFELD, 17 is also sought for Aggravated Robbery. Steinfeld is suspected of driving the get-away vehicle.

Dewey-Haagensen was injured in his attempt to flee the scene and was released from a local hospital today. The victim is expected to survive and was also released from the hospital this afternoon.
