Body Discovered on Conveyor Belt at Recycling Center
At approximately 8:30 pm on March 24, 2021, deputies responded to a recycling center on Johnny Morris Rd for a Deceased Person call. Workers found the decedent’s body on a conveyor belt. He has been identified as Silas Octavia Strimple, 18 of Washington state.
An investigation into cause of death and how Strimple’s body ultimately ended up at the recycling center is underway. Evidence collected to this point shows no signs of foul play, but due to the nature of where the body was discovered, the death is considered suspicious.
