TCSO Investigating Homicide

At 3:12 pm on September 27, 2021, deputies responded to an apartment complex in the 14100 block of Thermal Drive. A 911 caller reported an individual had been shot.

When deputies arrived, they discovered a 16 year-old male unresponsive inside the residence with a gunshot wound. Pflugerville Fire and EMS personnel responded but the male was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives observed that evidence at the scene was not consistent with suicide. Detectives are investigating the incident as a homicide and are actively pursuing leads via physical evidence and interviews with parties known to the decedent.

Evidence collected indicates this was an isolated incident, involving parties known to each other. TCSO is confident the public is in no danger. No arrests have been made. Detectives have been interviewing witnesses.
