“Creating Pathways to Connect Our Community"
We are committed to fostering positive partnerships between TCSO and the communities we serve. We believe that creating and maintaining relationships built on trust and mutual respect will improve the safety and quality of life for all Travis County residents.
Our Community Outreach Officers are primarily responsible for coordinating community events and programs that invest in the lives of young people, work to disrupt the “school-to-prison pipeline,” protect the safety and dignity of our senior citizens and those affected by mental illness, and ensure the safety of all neighborhoods.
We provide services throughout the unincorporated areas of Travis County. While normal office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, this unit can often be found working weekends and evenings.
