The Sheriff’s Memorial & Benevolent Society of Travis County is a non-political, non-governmental 501(c)(3) charitable corporation. Political activity is contrary to the purposes of this corporation.

We accept donations of monies and/or property provided to employees, families, and friends of TCSO in the case of emergency or misfortunes of nature. Donations can also be used for memorials, scholarships, educational, and public safety programs.

Our Board of Directors meet annually or as the need arises. We are a volunteer-based operation. Since there is no office overhead, the administrative costs are minimal; 98% of all money donated is given to the person or project it was intended for.

Tragedy happens year-round, so we accept donations year-round.
