TCSO Arrests Suspect in Overnight Stabbing Death

At 12:12 am on December 21, 2025, TCSO received a 911 call in which it was reported someone had been stabbed at a residence in the 14900 block of Lipton Lane.

When deputies arrived on scene, they encountered a male in his 40s with multiple stab wounds. CPR was administered but attempts to resuscitate the man were ultimately unsuccessful and he was pronounced deceased at 12:30 am.

Deputies were able to obtain a description of the suspect from witnesses on scene and were assisted by Pflugerville Police Department in their search. The suspect, Faran Abdolrahimi, 30 of Austin, was located and taken into custody. He was booked into the Travis County Jail, charged with murder.

The identity of the victim will not be released until positive identification has been made by the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office and next of kin has been notified.
